Vision Nigeria is a one hour interactive weekly radio programme with phone in and SMS contribution segment. The session has a moderator with resource person(s). The format is to facilitate conversations between the studio
audience and the general public. The members of the public did participate through SMS and phone in. The themes for discussion are topical issues; however, emphasis is placed on civic participation, human rights, democracy and good governance. Centre for Social Transformation and Human Development (CHDST) commenced the vision Nigeria broadcasting programme in Port Harcourt on the 1st of November 2007. The radio programme runs weekly every (Thursdays 3pm – 4pm). As of 2013 when the focus was changed, a total number of more than three hundred (300) episodes has been broadcasted to the people of Niger Delta and its surroundings on Radio Rivers 99.1 FM (voice of experience).
